Cyclists attacked, assaulted, victimized and threatened by Motorist in Atlasville, Benoni on Sunday Morning (15/03/2015).  Please be on the lookout for the Vehicle with its Registration (JNJ077GP - Metallic LIght Blue Nissan Sentra) as this Motorist assaulted a Cyclist and nearly rode over two other cyclists.  The Cyclist were in no way wrong as this Motorist stopped his Vehicle and assaulted a Cyclist then took out an Iron Pole (Baton) and threatened to Assault another Cyclist.  The Motorist then demanded that one of the Cyclist give him his Bicycle. Scums like this don't need to be on the Road!

I tried attaching a picture of the Vehicle but HUBSA only allows up to 2MB and the picture file is 2.5MB.

Hi,  this took place between 09h00 and 10h00.  According to this motorist he says that the cyclists were riding in his lane,  but there was ample space as one of the cyclist even gave way and apologized by means of a hand signal.

Just another scum probably drunk on a Sunday Morning and who else to take his Road Rage out on  - innocent cyclists.

Its pretty simple, if there was an assault then go to the police and lay an assault charge.

Regardless of who was right or wrong it doesnt justify physical violence.

Agreed - the police can track the vehicle down very easily if it's registered. What do you want hubbers to do about it? Pull him out of his car and assault him?

Dude, the oke is reporting an incident that is notifying fellow cyclists in the area. Your snarky reply ain't warranted, a lil bit of EQ a little less sarcy.

This is a cycling forum. We discuss cycling related stuff. We warn each other about dangerous incidents. We discuss interesting things.

This thread pretty much qualifies I think.

hey bud, easy as a cyclist i would want to know that there is a blue nissan riding around who has a problem with cyclists in my area to AVOID,, i dont recall anyone asking for action to be taken unless it was deleted, i think its brilliant that a hubber has taken the time out to warn THE NEXT POSSIBLE VICTIM

CHILL NOT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE ON THE HUB IS ABOUT MOB VIOLENCE

The appropriate action would be to FIRST report the incident to the police and then warn the community about a potential lunatic on the loose. The best thing that you can do to protect the cycling community would be to report an incident to SAPS. A detective knocking on your door on a Sunday morning will scare the bejesus out of you.

I ride that road often and would like to know about incidents like this.
