Notice that some dude completed a segment on my route in 25sec 105kph avg - not that i care about that specific segment but it just dilutes the value of strava. Already have hard enough time believing some of the stats on strava. If you read some claims on this forum made by roadies then this stat looks legit....

It checks out the consistency during the segment of the timing. Digital EPO leaves a "bumpy" speed graph, where it has boosted performance that was not there. It was highlighted during the TDF, many of the top TDF Pro's were doing it as a joke to beat there mates up climbs. They got a bit bleak when they started getting flagged

SAGecko Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 It's just an app which you should really use to compare your segments against one another to see if you are improving. Use it for what it is meant to be. Ja, this is what all Stravanistas say if they've never achieved a KOM. I should know....

Switching ones Garmin/Strava off before heading home does appear to be a really challenging task for many cyclists... Although often its the kind of riders who drive 10km to cycle 15km.

Sooner or later one of us is going to have to let things be, but in the meantime....it's game on!!

Hehe, boab, I think Jigg is showing off that his name keeps coming up on the top of the leaderboard when he goes out and that he needs to work more and train less... But like you, I have a local KOM chaser who keeps coming back to retake the tennis match efforts we are having on our local segments!

Too many bloody roadies. lol On the one segment i am averaging 46kph over 9.4km doing it in 11:55 and still i am only rated 115/1646 people. crazy! But ill get there... Maybe i need to report a few to clear the leaderboard
