Bub Marley Posted May 11, 2015 Share I was there that day...missed the incident though. Long story...but I was wwearing SAB garb. I don't work for them, but they had paid for my tickets, hotel and booze. Was it wrong to wear SAB kit? Yes, because only wannabe's would wear it. Tumbleweed Posted May 11, 2015 Share Yes, because only wannabe's would wear it. I was more of a want-it-free than a wannabe at the time… Talking of which, I've cracked the nod to the World of Beer's 20th anniversary this weekend. Pity I don't drink anymore…

Lucky Luke. Posted May 11, 2015 Share If riding your bike in someone else's work togs makes you happy then go for it. Personally, I like to pick out my own outfits. Pedalling around like a logo bukkake is also best avoided in my opinion, unless those logos paid for your kit of course, and not vice versa. FrankG Posted May 11, 2015 Share Who gives a who sh!te what you wear? Just get on your bike and ride, what happened to that radical concept? The only posers are those who judge by standards they themselve set. Usually theses posers are complete tossers who think everyone cares what they think, when in fact they are the ridicule of their cycling groups. Is there a GQ edition for cycling I am unaware of? Where a onesie if it makes you happy. TheHubaHuba, Rudi33 and Wimpieva

Pity I don't drink anymore… I'm definitely a want-it-free kinda guy as well. I'm an insurance broker and I make sure each insurance company sponsors me a kit. I have received kits from Momentum, Santam, Liberty, Discovery over the years and paid for none of them. Cool beans.
Gen Posted May 12, 2015 Share I'm not one for riding in pro kit.. basically cause I am not a pro and most of the pro kit is ugly and full of holes[emoji6] . BUT I rather like the Southeast kit they are riding in the Giro. . So if I ever got given a set, I could possibly wear it. Bankie99

MTBKen Posted June 5, 2015 Share I say cycle in whatever the hell you want to. You can cycle in your favourite Billabong or Quiksilver tees if you want to no 1 can stop you as long as your wear a helmet. I don't see a problem with people cycling in replica team kits. Whats the big deal? Agree!! http://i62.tinypic.com/vsdlcn.jpg https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/139489-bicycle-enthusiast-t-shirts-by-cotton-domino/ Edited June 5, 2015 by MTBTrolley
