Eish.

As been posted before it just does not feel right but do people deserve second chances? Repent, clean up and do what is right going forward?

Is it possible?

I don't see anything wrong, he did his time so he is allowed back.

that's the kind of attitude that keeps our sport in the dwang

they know that they can cheat and get forgiven so there is no deterrent

why don't we forgive Lance then ^_^

He served his ban and is allowed to race, agreed.

But that doesnt mean that we must forget. Being a cheater carries a stigma, and it will stick for a long time. Its part of the deterrent.

So if you choose to forgive and forget, thats your choice, I choose not too. Both side of the fence are entitled to their choice.

In terms of the ruling he is allowed back.

But in my view, a doper is back.

You remember Lance (...and we know what he did  )

I'm not sure I agree with you so lets look at it like this.

What results was he achieving as a doper and what results is he achieving after serving a ban? If the results are the same now as they were, then we must assume that he is still doping?

Are banned athletes tested during their suspension period?

Can you dope during a suspension and come back to racing with all the gains you made during that period, but just ensure that all of the dope is out of your system by the end of your suspension?

Vets only get tested at some races, and only on the odd occasion, so you can dope yourself to the gills for your full ban, nobody would ever know.

That is a big problem IMO

So your wife cheats on you, You skop her out. 2 years later you see her again at a bar and she is looking super hot. One thing leads to another and your back in bed with her. Do you trust her? What has she been up to for the last 2 years that she is in a bar looking super hot?
