I need a new way to break some bones.

I built some for one of my sister's kids. Shutterboard for the surface (you can also use thick masonite but then you need to add more support beneath), pine for the sides and cross struts, and a can of that paint-on roof sealant (I forget the brand name but the one I bought was a black plastic can with bright green writing on, the finish was matt gray and it looked really good).

You can build it an hour or two with a jigsaw and some cut screws.

Nice ramp! You must make the table part bigger, I think that is a little small. Maybe add 4/6 planks?

yep. As we get more confident, we can extend it and raise it.

This is currently set at level "xc".

Soon it will be upgraded to level "enduro" followed by "downhill" and finally expert level aka "greg minaar".

Saw it down the middle and move the two parts a road width away from each other. Give it a blast and post the footage here! We'll collect money for fixing the broken bones!:-)

Yeah. Build your own. I used to build skate ramps. Very easy if you can operate a drill and circular saw. Shutter ply and a few pine slats for support.

Or get an old shipping palate and some bricks.

I agree. I've got a friend who makes and sells really good quality palletes for R95. The wood used is really good and I recon with less than 10 palletes I'd have more wood than used in that ramp. Taken them apart, with a few cuts and holes I'd have one for under R1000,
