Don't think I will make the Two Oceans this year any cool trail / road runs you guys can recommend between Jan - May as I need to start training for something ?

Ideally in Gauteng or 3ish hours from JHB / PTA.

Luckily for you 2 Oceans is only next year so enough time to make a plan 😮‍💨

I'm the same I need a race/goal to aim for else there is no drive or will to do the work especially if I keep raising the bar.

Maintaining your health should be enough motivation

Yeah I generally stay fit except July when I take a break I let the body recover. Find it difficult to push myself and gain real fitness if not training for an event. Two cool events I have done over the past few years is the Ottosdal Draf and Trap and the Magoebaskloof trail run, amazing experiences and not very commercial.

Anyone have some running sungless recommendations my adidas raylors have finally broken after 10 great years...

Been using my Rudy Project Tralyx for years now. Really good for running even though I bought them for cycling.
