So you all going to let StevieL and I ride alone on Saturday morning? 2 people that usually ride by themselves....that is going to be one silent ride for sure BouncingBrain 1

The signs of flu I was fighting off for the week leading up to the 947 has hit me with a bang. The stuff coming out my lungs is probably what inspired the belief of Aliens having green blood. No other choice but to take a forced break. So enjoy to all who meet up on Saturday. Hope you can find each other this time around BouncingBrain 1

Hope you can find each other this time around We arranged to meet on a corner this time and not a circle with a diameter of +10m ...(thats about 31m of confusion right there...not even talking about square meters!)...hahaha Who ever is 1st on the corner might look like a hooker though...hahaha! HappyMartin Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 That was a mess for me. Missed the start with a puncture and spent the day fighting to keep air in my tyres. Ended up with no more spares and a slow puncture that I kept topping up when I spotted people on the side of the road with a pump. A disappointing 03:18 for me.
Lurch the stalker Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Hayley/Steve, did you ride out to the Cradle yesterday as planned?Did anybody else meet up along the way? I was up super early, decided to get some work done before riding, and the next thing the day was half gone. Oh well, next time... On a separate note, is anybody interested in joining me next Saturday morning?I'm planning on taking a ride from Midrand out to the Voortrekker monument - there and back is almost exactly 40km from my doorstep, but would want to extend it if I had company.

Bike had double puncture the morning again after putting in new tubes the night before (needed due to parking lot thorns st 94.7) and I thought I checked the tires properly (even had a tweezer on hand). Longer version.... I had a few beers before I did the tubes change the Friday eve and it turns out I missed a couple I need new tires anyway, but took them off Saturday morning just to check and the 1st sweep over I could feel it, so took them out and went for a solo slow ride a bit later in the morning. Oeps. Will not do that again. StevieL and Bat 2

Your index from R4S will be based on the next quickest group, possibly tandems or AL or Vets (if they're there. One advantage for the masses when the Elites ride another distance/event - although the PPA beta might screw my theory up. BouncingBrain 1
