RIght, I am 0.7kgs more this week. I had some viral infection, so no riding.

Hope to start picking up the bike again this week.

dad went in to hospital again with a suspected burst ulcer and BP of 90/50. No ulcer. Now suspected extreme diverticulitis or extreme degradation of the stomach lining. Having a scope and patch done now, but he's had to have a blood transfusion and has been on a permanent saline drip to combat dehydration.

I have a feeling that this is the beginning of the beginning. So no, not an easy weekend for me.

Don't know what the weight is this morning. Feels less on the belt, but that could be an illusion.

As heartless as it seems, it's not a new feeling. Multiple heart attacks, triple bypass, skin cancer, stomach ulcers and and and over the past 5 plus years. If we knew what this was, it'd be easier. But for the moment, it's an unknown quantity. Which is shaite.

Thanks man.

Also had a "heavy weekend" to much eating and drinking, i am a bit scared to get onto the scale , will do that first thing tomorrow morning i just need to flush my body with some water. I feel like a doper/cheater for not weighing in this morning......  :w00t:  :w00t:

Weight yesterday was 92,2 best race weight ever.....by a mile

I didn't weight this morning. I know it will be considerably more due to water retention.

Due to the heat yesterday I drank a few kilo litres of water after the race, but only peed 2 times.

Does anyone has any idea why this happen? Is it normal or should I have it checked out by a doc.

Happens to me as well. It'll normalise in a couple of days if you continue with the water consumption.

I had an up and down week in terms of eating but burned about 17 bazillion calories on Saturday at the Wartburg 65k classic. Currently sitting on 0.8 up for the week but now it is action time. I am expecting/ hoping for a much better number next week.

My weight is on the up again  :cursing:

Frustrated!

I can recomment MYFITNESSPAL app to everyone

It just helped me understand where I was going wrong.

I set my goal on a 0.5kg per week - gives me a lot of room to eat what I want in moderation...

Last night I had 3000kj left at the end of the day - So I had a cookie, piece of swiss roll and a horlicks - knowing I am still 1000 kj under my target for the day

That makes it easier to survive on the days where you struggle to keep it under and you have to say "no thank you" that someone offers you...

I have managed to loose weight consistently, but Its slowed down considerably. I was down to 116.8 this morning but I went for run and Nightride yesterday expecting it to go up again.

Stress does not help atm.
