just out of curiosity - and no i haven't read all of the posts - what did your LBS do to rectify the issue?

He is the link I have to omnico,and with out his pushing would have no idea as to what omnico are doing. They treat most lbs the same as they treat everyone else.

 

Speak to any lbs and ask them about omnico and see what response you get.

Also was told by Vincent Stevens that I have to go through my lbs.

Hopefully when we start complaining to the manufacturers, and Omnico start losing their dealership to some big brands, they will sit up and notice us lowly customers.

 

Still upset that I had to fix my own Easton wheels 2 years ago when I reported a well documented problem with it's spokes, which Easton fixed without giving hassles in the EU.

You are not on their twitter feed yet I see. Start a twitter account omnicosucks. and get on to all their international brands and tell them what happened to you mate. My 2 cents, it isn't about playing fair it's about making a huge stink that eventually Fox will send you a fork personally....

twitter ha ha I had to ask my wife to even use Facebook . Maybe someone can pm me and tell me how.

 

I don't care about being patient or benefit of the doubt anymore.. They have had there chance many times over.

 

Also post a link to this thread via one of fox's us service pages.

So my fork was collected on the morning of the 22nd of April ...

As much as we all like a burning at the stake, let's give them until close of day today I'd say. Yes, the 22nd seems yonks from today, but it's been an awkward business week or two. I can only imagine that with the public holidays quite a few of their staff will have taken the extra days off to have themselves a nice long break. Add to that the fact that your email or correspondence will be one of MANY in their inbox's this morning I think it's only fair to give them a gap.

 

Understand your frustration and disappointment, though.

But honestly,there were 2 ppl who were copied in on Vincent Stevens mail,Kirk Buske & Steve bowman. Could not one of them take the time to reply to one of my emails and or even just say ,fork received regards ?? In 4 normal work days.

 

Let's see what happens today.

This is what concerns me no end.

 

I agree with Iwan in that they should be given a chance to rectify the situation. Cooler heads and all that. But isn't it past that point already? I keep coming back to this thread in hopes that they will do right. I want to see them do right. But I feel like they don't because they know they can get away with it. Don't let them.

My Stages PM left Jhb on the 21st - collected by Omnico from my LBS - got it back this morning - replaced at no charge - don't know if it was under warrantee or not - no problems - even got a phone call returned.

 

So - chances are they will sort your issue out - eventually.
