What if one day you woke up and your nipples where completely gone

Like no scars or anything, just flat skin

And then once you leave the room you find out that your dad died last night and the several days later, you find out that for you entire life your dad had been sneaking into your room while you slept and sucking on your chest to make gigantic hickeys where your nipples should be.

Not for any sexual reason, but because you were born without them, just so that you would fit in.

God bless you Dad

So here's a thought. Who is the typical "rogue rider"?

I had a somewhat drunken chat with Jan (Steilte & Hemel en Aarde) about this when we were in Lesotho and we concluded there are 3 types.

1. The rogue builder. I've fallen into this category. Guys who want a little more than they've been given. Hated by most but without these guys places like Whistler would not exist and we'd all still be riding jeep track. Well that's my view and I'm sticking with it.

2. The semi pro. Guys who think they are celebs and pros and when confronted will immediately respond with I'm training for (Insert race name here) Jan reckons these are his personal favorites.

3. My personal fave is the 50-60 year old white male. He is the guy who proudly tells the cop "I pay your salary" when pulled over. When confronted his response will be "I've been riding here x years"

Unfortunately, shaper, for us folk it's a very real problem. Our access to the trails is very delicately managed and we've seen the effects of rogue riding all too often. So imo the seriousness of this problem should not be discounted

And this thread was started to catch such a rogue rider with a successful outcome.

The serious of the problem has been highlighted many time over many years on the hub.. so is not a one off problem. The good of this social media campaign is that the offender was caught and identified.

It happens not only in the Cape but many places!

End of issue, and not personal as some are making it

All valid points if the threats were legit!

However did any of the mob justice suggestions made here by some other long standing members who have shown a propensity for humour laden banter really come across as genuine to you? Especially when Hairy already diffused some of that with his reply suggesting the gravity of chicken wire across a path in any scenario! (To that end, any of us with a coherent thought will agree that someone who actually ever considers REALLY putting wire of any type across a path should be treated like a criminal!)

*Thor withdraws his chicken wire comment in embarrassment with an addendum that he also said the dwis who said that should be shot*

2. I do not and will never condone physical violence as a means to an end. My comments about paint ball guns and pepper spray were made tongue in cheek. I apologize for putting the club and MTB'ing in general in a bad light. I should have known better.

Pitfalls of social media....

Surprised that people took your "threats" so serious..

Don't they know hubber keyboard warriors are really harmless in real life

That is a threat to my intimate circle, and I demand a retraction, sir!

Ag, puns are the lowest form of wit. So I set the bar low, normally, but in that case, limboed majestically underneath it.

You should apply to be the next Cell C CEO - you already have the required social media skills, you just need to change your looks & gender  :whistling:

Saw that. Raydek went to ride there and sent a message along the lines of "awwwwwwww" when he found it was closed. Then I got a pic of the upgrades.

On the weekend they were busy building jumps, but as of this AM they are putting in rock gardens and 'UCI compliant features' (quote). Hopefully the next few days rain will expedite the process.
