What a lekker race for mid-winter.  Really enjoyed myself, unlike last year which was a sufferfest.

One minor thing: is it too much to ask for organizers to make WATER AVAILABLE AT THE END?

Just a bottle per person, PLEASE.

I'm definitely entering then next one.

Think the event was great .

Nice route and very well marked and marshalled .

Wind was nasty , but then we didn't complain when it was blowing from behind and we could give some gas .

Food stalls were in abundance , but very slow service , and 50 minutes to exit the venue is not on ...

Good idea to have water at the finish !!

All was nice except the finish exit. A bit slow but not that bad.

Timing issue is still there. My result is missing. E-mailed SAS and waiting for a reply. Will E-mail Advendurance too just to make sure.

and now the rant!!!

If you cannot ride it, walk but at least give way to the people still riding!!! :cursing:

Enjoyed the ride and met some cool people on the route.

Getting out of the venue took long but we had a cold beer in the car so it wasnt too bad.

Will definitely enter again

I really enjoyed the race. They keep on making improvements to the route every year. Started in A batch and luckily this time everyone rode the technical bits and did not get off or stop in the middle of the trail.

With these types of venues in the city I always try to cycle there as it is a lot quicker to get out. In total I did 115km's on Saturday and finished 55th in the Marathon.

Great venue and great event!

Been a while since I did a Nissan Trailseeker and was well impressed... the route is nothing spectacular, but is fun for the large part and gets the job done - and was a nice ease back into marathons for me. Was also in rather amateur fashion nursing a little Jager induced hangover. Water-points were awesome, pretty much anything you could really ask for! Lekker medal, slick admin and google maps got me out the parking in no time (don't follow the sheep!) Away for the next one, but will definitely be doing these regularly again - great value

Route was much better than last year. Only downside was the queue for beer and the even longer queue for burgers. Enjoyable day out.

Loved the marathon route, the venue was good. For me Advendurance upped their game in 2016. Rode with my girlfriend, she did her first marathon and we started in F. Must say I enjoyed the XCO Olympians from G and F batch racing for honors in the single track. If you wanted to race then you were in the wrong batch.

Thanks for the walkers that got out of the way up the climb for the riders to come through, it made it a lot easier.

Was my First Marathon and it went Ok, My arms were dead tired after 50 km's though so my motivation was not much going through Rosemary Hill.

Not sure if this is due to wrong bike set up as my legs were OK but as my arms were gone I was in survival mode from the time we entered Rosemary.

Maybe tires still a bit hard due to my Road background. Will try the next one as well to see if it goes better, otherwise I will stick to the Half Marathons and Road races.

So because I live nearby I would like to propose that instead of parking at the venue next time, rather park further up the road at the Hazeldean shopping centre or at the gym parking area.

The downside is then that you have to cycle back to your car ~5km.
