steerer.

 

I've been riding it "slammed" for 3 years now. The only thing I'll let in between my steerer and frame is the headset cap. Due to the length of the steerer I have two spacers on top. I want it nice and flat - like the illustration (sorry) below.

 

Apart from affecting the resale value, is there any other reason I should not cut my steerer?

If its a more trail / enduro type bike you dont want to cut steerer, you can then move stem up or down with spacers depending on the terrain...very steep downs...move stem up, flatter move stem down.
