5,500m of climbing

Jirri....

see u next year?

I'd love to do an extreme tri. I was watching last years Patagonman on Youtube the other day, it had the iron cowboy, Tim Don, and a couple other chaps narrating along the way. It was brilliant.

Seeing all our pools are closed I was thinking of going for a swim in our local lake.

Checked the water temp and its colder than i thought

13 Deg C

Even with a wetsuit and if i still can fit into it   I'm not so sure i want to go now...

Went to check the lake temp for myself yesterday... finger test felt ok.

Saw a dude with a wetsuit drying out next to him sitting on the grass.

He said the water is not to bad, he swam with 2 caps and a full length suit and said:

"only the exposed forehead strip between his caps and googles, his hands and feet got cold..."

There was another lady swimming breastroke... could not see if she had a wetsuit on

Does anyone know the rules around swimming in the sea after 1 May when lockdown relaxes?

If not will gyms be open for swimming, alternatively something like Silvermine dam, will the "parks" open?

I need a good long openwater swim  ;)

I can honestly say that is something I've never said nor do i think i ever will

I think we will just have to wait until next week to hear from the actual ministers and presidency what level 4 entails... All these different pdfs with different things on the different levels... Noone really knows.

But I do hope I can go swim in the ocean next Saturday!

Oh I gave up on those weeks ago [emoji1787]

Tried it and got so strange pains in my elbows so stopped.

No races this years as they all cancelled so no reason to do the bands.
