Eish, that's a bargain!

Somewhere someone is missing his Scott.

Why does he not place the bike on a couch :w00t:

Or it was replaced by the insurance already and he couldn't give a toss... either way, sad state of affairs the world we currently live in

Looks legit. Sure there's nothing to worry about if you can't pose the bike outside. Most bikes for sale are posed in front of an elevator door.

the only thing THUS far that is a sad state of affairs are those assuming the bike is stolen!!!

Yes, I agree. That bike clearly belongs to that gentleman... NOT.

So you think a newish Scott FS with Stans wheels for R4,500 is not a stolen bike? Would you buy it for that price? If the answer is yes then you are a big part of the problem.

look, basically what I'm trying to say is, yes the ad looks very very suspicious. however, did the OP or any other folk that believe the bike is stolen do the right and report it? i bet peeps are just gonna look at the post, echo some or other mass participation comment and scroll onto next topic or classifieds or something..... is that not a sad state of affairs?

most definitely dude! but i cant agree with you regarding the "non-typical"owner. pls elaborate...

Are you a liberal by any chance?

So it's suspicious, just because there is a black guy in the pic? Racist much?

Can a black guy not sell an immaculate looking Scott Spark at a near unbelievable price without it being deemed suspicious?

Posted

This would be suspicious no matter who is in the picture. The fact that it's a black dude who looks too short to fit the bike doesn't do much to change that opinion

Because everyone who has ever bought/sold a bike had the perfectly sized bike?

Maybe he's selling because the bike is too small?
