I saw a guy taking a casual stroll up DH3 last weekend.  Seemed to be completely oblivious to where he was walking or what maybe coming up to him at rapid speed.

There is no cure for stupid.

2 weekends in a row, 4 weeks ago, we got guys running down the trails. Groups of riders told them they not allowed, but they continue anyway.

One day there is gonna be serious collision despite all the expectations and reasoning's behind the lack of signage

Deon,

whens the next build day, and is there any harm i use my hands/or bike tools to cleanup/fillup whatever i'm able to when on the trails. had a few scary moments on dh3 with that rut after the tables into the 3rd 4th and 5th jumps

The 'drop' just after the split on DH1 ans the Enduro trail is also pretty hairy. The erosion rut leading into it tries to pull you left and then the 'drop' and the landing has no soil at all.

I got a bit of a fright... It's not a deal breaker but there are a few places where the erosion has shifted things around quite substantially.

Honestly speaking, i dont ride the dh lines anymore, u know moth to a flame etc, thats me and ruts.

Got a fright on sat after the stump jump on vasbyt/DH3. One nice long rut down the center of the line, i was to the right of it and then ended up in it. Just glad its not as ginormous as the ones on the jeep track that take you to China

Hasn't there always been a big rut on that section?

I seem to remember that even when there were trees the trail was split in half way past the old trail fork onto the old lizard trail.

I like riding the DH trails. I am not massively in love with Cobra at the moment... I seem to be skitting all over the place

Lack of and no signage is different

Quite correct. My apologies. But in this context, what does lack of actually mean? Every trail is signposted.

Also the ship that thinks a few signs is going to change the way people behave in this place has looong sailed.

Nothing changes. The signs only offer something concrete to make your point.. yet it’s up to how that point is understood. Often not.
