Vision 2020, which is as before the goal to get an african rider onto the tour podium in two years time in July

With a picture of maincheese and nic dlamini*

sure nibbles, froome and maybe porte might not be around.

but you're going to have to get past yates^2, bardet, pinot, quintana, landa, Aru, dumoulin and all the others standing in line. and then there's always the next big thing coming along too

I fail to see how DDD are going to be a GC superpower that quickly. Maybe if they had massive training camps in ethiopia they could find a natural in the rough. They could pull a Cannondale fluke like last year, but then they'll need a Uran first.

*he's brilliant, but not exactly GC material at TdF yet

Despite a top 10 (8th) GC in both 2016 and 2017 TdF?

For such a young rider with relatively little Grand Tour experience he's riding at a level comparable with many of his rivals and beyond. He should be at a level to be built into a GC contender. Hopefully DD will be the ones to do that.

Perhaps yet many of the young riders like the Yates brothers are surging forward with potential and Louis is going backwards....

EBH going to Quickstep according to my info. Van Avermaet with BMC to Didata. The bike companies pay millions to sponsor a team. Maybe they come up with the salary. I wonder with co sponsor Deloitte that i think pays for Cav, now leaving to go to trek or someone, if Cav is on his way

Would hate to see EBH leave, but if it means they get GVA I would be very happy. I am quite a fan!

Rumours... GVA has been shopping around but no takers his wage demand is too high.

News just in. Maincheese hasn't cracked the top 10 in 4 stages at the Tour of Austria.

Not exactly a stellar year for DD.

Cmoooon Fast Eddie. We need a stage win today!

I'm very underwhelmed by Meintjies performances this year. I really hope Douglas has an alternative plan because come Vuelta they are going to need some answers. But no pressure

Maybe the last 3 years have caught up to LM and as a result he is battling to maintain his performances this year.

3 GT top 10 finishes at a tender age coukd do that to you!
