Refund for wheels

I brake mostly with front brakes on my mountain bike, roadie gets most of its braking done with the rear.

Never had a wheel lock up, skip or flat spot.

Road braking is far more predictable and lighter than on a mountain bike.

Carbonboy is just FAST.......

The buyers entire arguement is based on the fact that I removed the "Yellow" stickers....  Which I actually told him when he bought the wheels..... How does one re-use those decals???

I once removed stickers off a set of Mavic rims ....

There was absolutely NO CHANCE of re-using them .

Firstly , the adhesive left more on the rim than on the sticker ,

Secondly , the stickers tore in more than 1 place .

Like I said, for sedate cycling the rear brake is sufficient.

Oh, and that should have been skid not skip.

This sucks...

1 of them has either been ripped off or is trying to rip the other off.

So basically one of you is a skelm...... Saying skelm things.

Both of you should go away to a quiet room, think about things for a while and be completely honest with yourself about your intentions and where you are going in life.

The one who is doing the skelm thing should phone the other one and apologise so you can both move on from this without too much mud flinging.

Either side of the story involves some form of scally wag behaviour from the other so one of you IS being naughty.... Admit it to yourself, apologise and move on.

I can vouch for this.

I too once removed stickers from wheels, it was a Doom/Q20/Hairdryer/Gazillion pieces of paper affair.

The dude who could reverse engineer that mess back into a recognisable decal, gets the Humpty Dumpty tendor!

Now this is what I call entertainment.

My opinion: No refund should be given. Just coming up with the cheap rim swap, sticker replacing story seems too much effort for R1400, nevermind actually implementing it.
