Patchelicious Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 It makes you wonder if he wouldn't have just walked away with the win by a much bigger margin if he could actually select the gears as and when he needed them.Don't know, kind of like when Gwin won when he dropped his chain. I think you just go "stuff it, Im going flat box". Not sure this would have happened if he had his gears. Its weird.
Rocket-Boy Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Im sad that Julian Alaphilippe isnt in the tour this year. I was expecting him to cause some fireworks.
Gen Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 And I remember the strong debate we had on the hub after that. And I think Bertie had a tad more of an excuse about not knowing Andy had a mechanical. Unlike Aru saying he could not see the yellow jersey with a raised hand calling for a team car. I do not beleive that Aru did not see that CF had a problem. Look at the footage as Aru was dismayed when he realised he is not supported in his attack yesterday. Also a different race scenario in that instance. . Schlek attacked.. Vino chased after Schlek and went past him as his problems started at the same time Bert went chasing after Vino.. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Interesting that those bikes have dropper posts for seatpost height this year.

'Dale Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 He is the only one able to get himself over the bumpy stuff..Kittel won't go in any break away chasing points..and he and the lumpy things really don't get on well. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk #lastsprinterstanding

'Dale Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 With Berto' struggling at this stage, I hope that Pantano will be freed eventually up to go chase a stage winLike that rider heyHe had such a stunning le Tour in 2016

Was thinking for a while he's been ordered to wait. Never expected him to fade like that.
Icycling Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I am sure Froome can handle Aru little attack when he was putting his hand up. Froome raced in RSA where it was normally for your own team mate attacking you when you had a mechanical!

Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk This, Andy had already committed to an attack and mechanical happend. its not like they stop and re-do cause of the attack. "Guys hold on my chain came off so this attack doesn't count" Others: "Ok cool, put it on and the we fall back into formation and you attack again but we really think you must change from SRAM"

And the guy can also descend like mad... very exciting rider to watch. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
