With Berto' struggling at this stage, I hope that Pantano will be freed eventually up to go chase a stage win

Like that rider hey

He had such a stunning le Tour in 2016

Agree. Was thinking for a while he's been ordered to wait. Never expected him to fade like that.

I am sure Froome can handle Aru little attack when he was putting his hand up. Froome raced in RSA where it was normally for your own team mate attacking you when you had a mechanical!

I really like him too, he has been fairly quiet in this one though.

There is still time for him to do something exciting though.

Also a different race scenario in that instance. . Schlek attacked.. Vino chased after Schlek and went past him as his problems started at the same time Bert went chasing after Vino..

This, Andy had already committed to an attack and mechanical happend. its not like they stop and re-do cause of the attack.

"Guys hold on my chain came off so this attack doesn't count"

Others: "Ok cool, put it on and the we fall back into formation and you attack again but we really think you must change from SRAM"

Ja he had a job to do. .now he may be given the freedom to go for stage wins. And the guy can also descend like mad... very exciting rider to watch.

Me too.

I think many other riders would have thrown in the towel, especially when he had to grind it.

Glad he won, if only because he never ever gave up. A small part of me was rooting for Bardet to stay away, he is starting to grow on me.

Bardet is one of the very few french riders(past and current) that I don't mind at all. He doesn't seem to have that k@k houding that some frenchies have, bouhani.......

It looks like Rafal Majka, not sure what happened though, didn't watch the stage yet

He went down in the Thomas incident.
