They rushed to WT status too soon and have been hanging on ever since.. they really don't justify their WT status spot.

Jaaaa

Take nothing away from Bob, a great effort indeed.

However I suspect some insider trading involved here as well... no one at that level should be able to ride away from the peloton for that distance ( over 27 km)

Unless they agreed to give him the win

It’s Belgium and road racing after all

Did you see where QS positioned themselves within the peloton... it is what makes them so good at the classics...they weren't going to let the teams team up in numbers to bring him back.. it was either a Bora or a Jumbo rider but never more than the 2 of them pulling.. QS slotted in right behind those 2 to prevent other teams coming to the front in numbers

Sorry for hijacking the tread, but hoping there might be some help around.

My wife and I have booked a bus trip for Paris-Roubaix, starting in Belgium and following the race along the cobbled sectors.  Has anyone done something like this before and have any tips about the day and night itself?

Quite excited to see the race live

You couldn’t help but see them....

Still I think the other teams could have made a better effort IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO

Deals being done between DSs while they drive

Remember about 90km to go QS already started making the race very hard... they softened them up

At the back of the peloton the door was wide open.  People were getting dropped out of the peloton chasing Jungle Bob.  Bora and Jumbo guys did their work, and then dropped off.  If they were chasing slowly you wouldn't see that.  Peloton was down to 32 riders.  69 riders finished.
