Nibali Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Pace on poggio was next level, no true sprinter was ever going to make it over unfortunately. If you look it was all top classics riders or explosive short effort rider who made it over. Yeah, they stood no chance.

I watched it last night Solo breakaway for about 14kms, put everything on the line and literally crossed the line, weakly put one hand up in the air to celebrate then collapsed in exhaustion as the peleton bore down on him.
