The Rainbow Jersey vs The Pog vs ______

Who else has nuclear level PPO over 3 mins up the Mur de Huy today?

I'd throw Pidcock in there with a chance...

And, the VET will undoubtedly finish in the Top 10....

Excellent analysis of #Opigate

Thanks for sharing. Still, clearer thought from all could have avoided this.

I think Lamps was lucky he didn't go down immediately as a 'low-side' fall. He'd have scraped badly on the cobbles and may not have gotten up and finished. As it was, the high-side he had was a big impact as he came down. terrible to see.

The traditional approach would dictate that you need to be on the Start-list to win it, so I would be somewhat surprised if he does take the W...

I’m in Slaapstad, on business, with a terrible internet connection. Will catch up over the weekend, before the 4th monument starts.

"Sprint Trains" are now in full force to put their peak riders in position for the finish... 9km to go.

Tune in now if you can...

Not necessarily incorrect at all. Couldn’t care less wether it’s popular opinion or not. Having seen the other angles the fact is that there were no bollards in that section, which makes it a viable line. The fact is that five or six other spectators either side of the guys grasped this and kept their arms in and were out of the way. As much as the race is predicated by cobbled sections, it is open wherever there an opportunity that isn’t marked off. Has always been the case.

When you’re done kicking people in the crotch take a deep breath and understand that racing on public roads is risky. You can barrier off the entire course or ban all spectators, or accept that this was an accident and move along.
