eccc whippet Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 would love to know how many individuals have viewed this thread... regardless of who is wrong or right it's negative publicity.5800 views so far...trust me this thread will not make a dent in their daily revenue...all the other sponsor are wishing people would bitch about them to get this kind of exposure
Dusty Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 As opposed to what? Or in what sectors are clients not clients? Really trying to understand your statement... I used 'retail' as that is my experience. Can't comment for others.Quite simple actually, nothing profound, they may be jerks/act like jerks, but the client carries the purse/wallet.Edit - I do suppose it depends on how well you are doing whether you can afford to tell a client what CWC did.
Benjamin Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Irrespective of the "they said, I said" merits of this or any service unhappiness, it amazes me what people hope to achieve by dashing to a social media or internet platform to shed tears about their experiences. Does the OP in cases like this want us to console them and assure them all will be OK , or do they really want us never to spend any money there again, and see the business involved get a lesson... Surely got better things to do, and let each customer make up their own minds who they should deal with, or not.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Person decide that's the end of CWC as a shop for him and get most family members and friends to do the same ,lets say 10 humans , post on net and get another 10ppl to say this is unacceptable and will not be tolerated thereby wont support CWC again. And the reasonable person will wonder what the OP said / did to deserve "Such Treatment" And probably be convinced to try it out for themselves, to see if this twak-talker is telling the truth, especially seeing as "everyone else" raves about them.
Joe Low Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 So its ok to tell a customer that doesn't agree with you to go buy somewhere else? Instead of just saying sorry and you will work on it? Even if you don't ?Lets quickly paint you a simple picture how this could potentially effect CWC: So person was told shop somewhere else:(NO HARM 1s off) Person decide that's the end of CWC as a shop for him and get most family members and friends to do the same ,lets say 10 humans , post on net and get another 10ppl to say this is unacceptable and will not be tolerated thereby wont support CWC again. So 20X humans - avg spending on goodies + new bike = +- 50K per year50 X 20 = 1bar...That's +- 200K profit What was that about limited harm? Now lets take an easy I'm sorry and will do better: Gets family and friends to actually shop at CWC 200K extra profit .. But anyway, as stated above i need more imagination , no wonder South Africa service providers are so pathetic , because we make them believe we need them, yet we are the ones with the money and they actually need us. Snapping at a difficult customer isn't usually the end of the world. My best one was to tear a customer's cheque into pieces, staple the pile together before sending it back to him. Long and amusing story, but no regrets. My experience of CWC is that they are generally ok - bought off them once and it was a reasonable experience. This thread doesn't change that view.
Wannabe Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Having worked in the Casino industry in a previous life, we had to, on more than one occasion, asked patrons to take their patronage to another Casino, as the money they spent there was not worth the amount of trouble they caused. And some of them were fairly big spenders. So no, the customer is not always right.

I assume that you live in Lala-Land. Even if it was best friend that was tuned to go shop elsewhere, I'd still buy there if the item I'm looking for is a bargain. Does that are me a bad friend? I don't think so.
PhilipV Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Ag like most relationship breakdowns It's not what CWC Online communicated It's HOWVery true. That is very often where the pawpaw hits the fan. And vice versa also applies. The OP threatening them with a bad review is like a spoilt child throwing a tantrum. Actually, I think CWC should have offered him a black Friday discount on tomato sauce for that chip on his shoulder.
'Dale Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 SNIPActually, I think CWC should have offered him a black Friday discount on tomato sauce for that chip on his shoulder.????????????Chip of the, uhm, Chirp Of The Day

mon-goose Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I don't feel like going through all the responses but have CWC responded yet? Not saying they have to but curious if they have
Skubarra Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 the usual story of 3 sides to every story probably applies? Ahhh, this saying another of the hub-chestnuts we always end up with on these threads Why do we always have to end up with 3 versions, why can't one of the other 2 not just tell the truth

So he waited an age on Internet time while fuming over it, decided to create an account on lehub (possibly a double poster account) and then harness the power of social media to teach them a lesson. Cue Borat voice:"Great success!!"

Its human nature though to bend the truth to make your side look better.Like posting a screenshot that shows a snippet of a conversation telling someone to shop elsewhere. Personally I wouldnt even start a thread like this, what would they have done if there was no internet or social media?
