is really that difficult to learn back-flips?

i've watched these vids they didn't get hurt and it looks very simple

im pretty experienced with flips on trampolines so will it help?

that's a LOT of wipeouts...

 

I've seen videos of guys practicing flips on a trampoline with their bikes - maybe worth a try?

good idea! ill steal my mates jump bike and leave the wheels to him :whistling:

I'd also like to try - but a fronty feels more natural to me because I do them into the pool. A foam pit would be the answer but don't know of any in Cape Town.

I'm gonna have to say bad idea. But then I've landed on top of a BMX on a trampoline before (while trying to learn to flip).

A big dutchman hit me once. I did a backflip.

 

Ja, that crap about "the bigger they are, the harder they fall..." It's more like: "the bigger they are, the further you fly..."

 

Done a couple of semi-flips into pools on a BMX. But I was drinking a lot back then. Much braver.
