Is it worth having a new hanger made up?

The hangar is part of the frame, will have to saw it off and weld a new piece of metal on. I think it is hammer time... Will take it to an LBS over the week-end (the owner rides a 456650b) to get an opinion.

What about heating it up? (I dont know anything about this though, just asking) and then bending it back.

Or maybe use a bench vice to straighten it.

Take it to BMC if you can.

I had the miss fortune of beating up a roadie frame and fork where the front wheel was just just short of the down tube .... when they were done with the frame and fork it was like new!

Just think, with a Chris King, you will ever only buy one. Ever.

For the life of that bike, that CK will be there, working smoothly, no matter how badly you treat it...
