Ryanpmb Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Absolutely! Besides, it will look killer with the new frame's paint job. If it ain't 853 it shouldn't be decal'd 853.
the nerd Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Same thing to me. But, I think there's very few 'M badgers' amongst us Do i fit in the cool team, not 853 but 3Al/2.5V
Frosty Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 It's okay thanks, my bike already has one of each of these stickers:
Ryanpmb Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 then they don't have to buy100% Not discouraging any sales. As I said above - pretty sure amongst this fraternity that most guys keep things genuine. If we see a Giant with one these stickers then we know! Haha!
Ryanpmb Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Do i fit in the cool team, not 853 but 3Al/2.5V Now someone's just showing off.
the nerd Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Now someone's just showing off. Sorry, I was feeling left out not owning a steel bike currently...
henningvr Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 If it ain't 853 it shouldn't be decal'd 853.I never said it's not 853. "... the new frame's paint job" <hint-hint> Don't worry, I too am not in favour of the whole "M-badger" thing.
Ryanpmb Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Sorry, I was feeling left out not owning a steel bike currently... I can supply a 853 sticker for R8.
HeyYou Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Contact Stephen Ford at H Lloyd Cycles Stephen Ford <steve@hlloydcycles.com> for about £10 (including postage, I think) you'll get genuine Reynolds 853 decals for frame and fork. I know it's more expensive, but it saves lots and lots of hassle and you don't have to resell afterwards. MTCW
