after FIRST asking for advice on a 27.2mm dropper post (2015 Carbon Epic, and the OEM Specialized dropper post costs....R7K!), someone suggested I try Lyne Components...

Well, after one or two Hubbers sang their praises, I went ahead and ordered, 30 seconds to order completion, that quick, i WAS impressed by website functionality, then just 24 hours later, the product - Lyne 27.2mm dropper post, was delivered to my work, in a nice re-useable mailing tube (see pics).

No charge for delivery, yet delivered from FedEx, nice!

The cost was R2,2K, which was within my budget, and the Hubbers have given me advice on how to try and install an INTERNALLY-routed dropper on the Epic..

Since I run my own MOTORcycle shop, I actually studied how easy the process was, to improve my own offering!

Thanks, Lyne, this really, really was a pleasure!

(I am not affiliated/have never met them, etc, etc.)

Anyone had issues with their Lyne posts so far, interested to see if the reliability matches the good looks?

Apparently the internal cartridge is easy to replace and costs around R700 which bodes well.

I have ordered one, about 7 months ago,  4 of my buddies as well, and no issues whats so ever. My one friend  weighs round 100kg no issues with his neither.

I too phoned around for pricing on dropper posts and found them so expensive. Lyne was the cheaper solution and it is working perfect so far on my camber. Highly recommend them

I have been running the 27.2mm since they 1st got stock.

No hassles what so ever. It is as good as the day I got it.

whew, a lot for me to reply to!

I will post pics and feedback when I fit it; this may take a week or two, though - very very busy time for me right now!

got some good advice here on HOW to fit the 'internal' dropper to my Epic carbon.

But yes, I am in Retail myself, (but Adventure motorbike accessories), and this service blew me away!
