I checked the pricing on a certain irish online store that isn't sending SRAM to RSA anymore, the identical cassette+chain combo they have is 20% less than just the cassette at your sale price. I don't envy your situation!! I too pulled the trigger on some tubbies from the mud island at R150 less than the cheapest price locally, which includes DHL to my door.
