Heel Drop

Recommended Posts

Maybe that's why I'm such a skilled rider....

All I've ridden for the past 3 years is my SSattachicon.gifIMAG1201.jpg

No front or rear suspension and ss................man you are tough, or dum  :whistling:

Why not through in some square wheels too ?

I'm usually in the front up the climbs, including Northcliff Hill.

It's all I ride so I guess I've toughened up since I used a MTB with gears.

Probably been dealt with before somewhere deep in the forum but...

I'm looking for a 450mm ish A2C, 12mm through axle, disk brake, rigid fork with a straight steerer... Do these even exist in South Africa? and if so where can I get my hands on one?

If you want it in steel speak to Shaun at storm bikes in Cape Town... let him make you one!

I love mine!

If you don't manage in SA and don't mind to wait a while you can always check out AliExpress.

Short answer is no but you can have one made.

What wheel size is it for? That A2C is something you would find for a 26er but those usually only come in QR.

Bike is an old-school 26 litespeed, with super steep HA and an old battered 80mm Manitou Scarab. So looking for a 450mm rigid which would be similar to a 100mm travel 26 fork. Hopefully slacken everything up a bit. Also have an old 650B front which I might try, make it even more leisurely.

Seriously speak to Shaun at Storm Bikes, he made mine for a reasonable sum! Similar spec as it is for Ragley Td1...

Straight or tapered steerer?

I have a white straight steerer steel...

You still got this? Is it 440mm or shorter?

Will dig it out this evening and get measurements.

Rad... I want a super short hard hitter for the urban hack around bike. This might be perfect
