Hi. Justa heads-up. The Saturday ride is a real light, 35km leg-spinner and will start at 6:00am this Saturday - NOT 5:30am (so will give you more time to get through from Ballito).

I need to get my daughter to the start line, make sure she is sorted and hopefully watch the start.. then get out of there and jump ahead to wait at the next possible spot.

A bit off topic but i just wanted to thank the good guys from ECCC.

 

i rolled along on their shake down ride this morning. Great legs spin until my rear derailleur decided to snap off the hanger.

 

to the guys who stopped and helped out and also then limped back to Suncoast Casino with me while I tried my new single speed.

 

tip my hat. THANKS.

 

ALSO thanks to Cyclesphere who sorted me with a new derailleur of a new bike. You gents are all stars and helped an out of townie without batting an eye.

Received similar good service from Cyclesphere, a few years back, after popping a few spokes on the tandem’s rear wheel. Ending up buying a while lot of other stuff I wouldn’t have bought.

Sorry about that, I saw your sudden stop and some blue car hooting, I thought you dropped a chain. At least its better because it happened a day before the race.

Not really, you will see guys standing with bike banners that state the start group. Just keep a look out for your group and then fall in behind.
