Because some people have to believe something fictional even going against all the evidence presented to them that they are wrong..all because they have a feeling.. and then they need to support that feeling with false evidence.. but that's not enough now they have to find other people of similar low IQ and convince them of the same proven to be false ideologue sound like a religion.. doesn't it

Exactly, trolling before internet times. I once attended a very serious Pastavarian gathering in Edenvale; No one talked about religion or anything controversial and everybody just ate a bowl of spaghetti. The stares in the mall and comments on the event's FB page gave us comfort that we aren't actually the 'crazy ones'. Edit: Obviously to protect our minds from normies/muggles, we had to wear colanders on our heads during the meal.

They're even allowed to legally perform wedding ceremonies in Aus now. Pretty cool in my book.

Although I'm sure there would be some clever explanation for that too
