the last two have been a mix between Daniel, Greg and Troy....they will all be up there along with Aaron, Loris and Jack

For the girls...rachel demolished the rest at the british nationals..she is back to her best - its gonna between Rachel, Tahnee, Myriam, Tracey.....Manon seems to be going backwards

True regarding Rachel. It's just disappointing that none of the ladies seem to be able to beat her outright when it's time to race. It was fun watching the ladies battle it out sans Rachel, as it was a legitimate toss-up.

Similar situation currently in the EWS. Ravanel is absolutely slaughtering the ladies races, although her dominance isn't quite as outright as that of Rachel.

As much as I hope I'm wrong, I don't see Greg winning this one. With his lead over Troy, he just needs a solid result (podium finish), and not going to take any risks going for the win.

It also looks like it may rain, and if so, I'm going for Hart for the win, Gwin 2nd, Loris 3rd

I'm expecting Greg to ensure the podium, and with all the competition going on around him, so are a couple of other players, therefor I don't think playing it safe is the right thing to do. He needs to aim for the win, and I suspect that is exactly what he will do. All things being equal, should he win this one, he will probably play it safe at Val di Sole.

I've been quietly impressed by Tracey Hannah. She has been fun to watch, and likes running on the ragged edge. Rachel will probably end up with the win, although Tahnee is also a contender. But I still would prefer Pompon to take it. She has been just so smooth throughout.

I can't see Greg playing it safe, that's just not him. He won't take unnecessary risks but he will defiantly be going for the win.

definitely defiantly!  :P

Looking at RedbullTV, they are saying 7pm for the ladies and 9pm for the men .. is that accurate or have I got something mixed up?

Supersport 6 also has the ladies scheduled for 7pm and the men at 9pm. So, ja, local time.

Greg for the win if it stays dry ... if it rains Hart will pull something out of his ass I'm sure

Rachel is just going to destroy the ladies field as usual

* I think Brosnan and Gwin are both very hungry for wins tho ....for obvious reasons

Greg on the big wheels and that track... You'd be brave to bet against him. I'm calling him for the win by 5 seconds.

Ha, no way. He has won in once and come second about 5 times so he will in all likelihood be on the podium. A 5 sec winning margin?? I want what you smoking too please.

I don't understand where all this love for Hart always comes from, but apart from a few podiums this year, he never really looked like he was going to win a race. Greg and Gwin has been looking the most threatening so far, with Troy coming to the party of late.

I hope Gwin gets a win for a change, or rather finishes his race without any disruption. He's been the fastest rider a few times now, but not getting the results.

Talking about 2017.

I've nothing against the chap. It just seems odd that he's almost the people's hero of DH.

he used to be a one trick pony...and everyone would wet themselves if it was wet in the anticipation that he would pull that run off again...but he never did...up until last year where he upped his fitness training and began to win. this year he has been up there and despite trying a 29er (which was too big for his small frame) - he looks pretty competitive to me still this year
