training is important part of the process. don't have wear a unitard everytime you go running, just like you don't need to wear a wetsuit in the gym pool.

I love tri's but I also don't get why you have to dress like a complete chop while participating in an event.

 

You honestly do not need compression everything for an Olympic tri... and you definitely do not need to walk around like the Ironman Merchandise store threw up all over you after the event either...

I've decided to go for swimming lessons once i'm back on my feet. I'm not promising a triathlon is in my future but ...

 

I learned to swim late, i was about 12 and i suffered at the end of a particularly sadistic PT teacher's tongue all the eay through primary school. The smell of pool chemicals makes me anxios to this day!

 

But i reckon it will be good for my rehab from this nuisance injury.

 

Going shopping for a budgie smuggler soon ... always worn baggies on the beach, modest chap that i am.
