Lots of speculation he held onto cars yesterday to make the time bar...

Lots of speculation that he often holds onto cars on any mtn stage.

Come guys help me out a french team had a lot of riders booted from a race because they held onto a team car's roofrack.. but can't remember if it was FDJ or Ag2R or evem which race it was..

Been wondering:-

Why so many of the bikes at TdF have 'unbranded' wheels ... Fashion or something more sinister?

Why their 'bike computers' appear to always be 'level' out front for want of a better description ... does it improve something about the GPS accuracy as someone surmised recently?

Probably stupid but gets the mind thinking

????????????

Probably unbranded because it isn't sponsored so no free advertising is possible.

The GPS thing is pribably an aero thing?

Obviously I have no idea, but, I have noticed that a lot of the wheel manufacturers have got much more muted graphics this year than previous...

Wrt the GPS, I would assume part aero, part position... I can imagine their very low down position when hammering would gain better visibility from a level mount than one angled slightly back...

50 extra fantasy points, so I’m not complaining. 32 more points on the final green jersey standing if he can make it over the mountain without holding on.

Now for Barguil and De Gendt to (try) salvage something from tomorrow’s stage as they won’t get anything on the weekend’s ITT and procession into Paris.

The GPS thing is about preferred angle. Look at somebody like Clint Hendricks, his GPS is angled in such a way that he can read it best while sprinting, that’s the only time he really needs it. Climbers will have it positioned so that it could be read best while sitting upright. It doesn’t have much to do with aero or downforce ????

Sags far back but clearly not feeling up to it.

But he got through the stage safely and he gave it a little go..

He is so far ahead in the points, he just needs to finish and he will win Green again.

Honestly, he could pull out now and still win on points.

That’s why I’m surprised he crashed, he didn’t need to chase, but... that’s Sags, he will always try.

Look, I know that not all cyclists are rocket scientists in their spare time, but fokkit, even I can find my way to the line once the sprint is on. How hard can it be ?
