Hi When is the next trail maintenance date planned? Dh3 has become pretty sandy - I hit a braking rut full of loose sand before one of the doubles and crashed badly today.

We are due to work on a few areas on Wednesday.. loose sand on the trails is expected with the area soil type and combination use and weather. We try time our work with pending rain, we even have a water tank but the drought has made it tricky to use without being questioned... We'll make a plan though. Sorry about the crash, thanks for the info.

(Deon) - Myself and junior could offer some labour to do some badly needed repairs on Wednesday. Would also offer some labour to do some work on bridle path some serious sandy patches and some general maintanance.

Bridal is awesome the way it is, but maybe a touch up here and there, overgrowth and some deep ruts.

Rode it yesterday and there are some very sandy sections in the 1st third of the trail where the front wheel begins to drift seriously but it's mainly maintenance and some vegetation trimming lower down. Some loose rocks that have rolled onto the track too.

Good job on the level 5 road to the top of snake trails, i can ride it without feeling like my legs are being shredded! Although its not a road anymore, proper singletrack now.

You mean the start of Cobra? Glad you like, sharp little thorns they were! Needs a bit more cutting, actually the whole track does, we've just started with the worst.

PS. There'll be a few more single tracks popping up around the place. All will finally link together to form a whole new network which includes a dedicated climbing trail. It's not often we have more projects than we can afford.

Nah, that's how it's always been. A solid ass-knyp as you teeter on the edge of traction. It's properly awesome.

We really need to pull in as many members as possible, the representation value is worth quite a lot for some of the plans ahead.

Please, chat to your friends and get them to chat to theirs.. this is quite an important year.

This is so important on a lot of levels.

That is besides the safety marshals, assistance to injured riders, medical evacuation coordination, trail building, repairs etc.
