I have alot of used cycling equipment that I would like to donate to a worthy cause / organization, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the items I have are:

1x Shimano MTB Shoes

1x Nike Road Shoes

2x Cycling shorts

3x Cycling jerseys

3x Saddles (Silverback, Sella, & Bontrager)

2x sets Shimano SPD Pedals

1x Seatpost

2x Handlebars

3x sets of gloves

4x bottle cages

Other cycling specific bits and pieces, stems, grips, etc.

I would prefer to put all in one box and donate it to someone alot less fortunate than most people on the hub ;-)

I retired to Prince Albert in the Karoo where I opened a little workshop to entertain my own passion for cycling .

Been helping poor school kids from the coloured community to ride .

Willing to pay for the shipping of the box .

If you find a closer destination for the stuff , that's fine .

Regards

Are there some trails there to try out at Prince Albert? I know my dad is keen to do more cycling and wants to go back there again at some point.

Currently we ride the graded dirt roads but are working with farmers to lay out trails .

And then we have Swartberg Pass !

Fantastic! I'll check up again and make a plan to get there.

Where can I donate used cycling clothes in the Western Cape, more specific the Durbanville area?

I have three bibs, jerseys, two set of arm warmers, gloves and two pairs of socks that I don't use anymore.

Sadly two of the bibs have a tear in the upper leg area due to crashing.

The one is basically brand new, so I don't want to throw them away, maybe someone can use them.

Could someone perhaps point me in the right direction?

The PPA accepts donated cycling kit at their offices in Kenilworth. They distribute it to youngsters in need. Perhaps just phone beforehand to check because the last time I did that was about 2 years ago.
