SwissVan Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 In my opinion Valverde is the best bike rider of this generation..his abilty to win on any type of terain is incredible!!There is no one that comes close to his results in Grand tours, classics, weeklong tours..and world champ medals.Not loved by all mainly because of his doping denial but I just love what he can do on a bike!!If he wins worlds this year it will be the cherry on the cake!Kind of feel the same, I like the way he just gets on with things. Sadly I think he has passed his prime but he may surprise us still....

(Cav, LM) Cav and LM are not hype riders - both have palmares that many riders would kill for. Cav has mononucleosis. LM isn't living up to the base he built for himself but he is the 21st GC rider at the Vuelta and looking to regain the form of 2016/2017.
