I must be honest, I have no idea what you are asking here...

It's one of the "Shreddit" boxes to tick. Similar to a scandi-flick, it doesn't make you faster, just makes you look fast (because, to be fair, you have to be hauling ass to make them look good).

Hi TheJ

Rim weights are as follows:

Pulse 25: 29" 440g

Amp 30:  27,5" 465g, 29" 495g

Cheers

Dayle

Thats a very decent rim weight!

Alloy nipples is a fail for me. Down at the coast that’s normally the first things that goes. Brass all the way!

Would be interested in that rim if they end up being sold separately.

Don't think Lyne was quite expecting the demand for loose rims...

Still rate they should offer the Pulse in 32h as well, otherwise its pretty useless on the "loose rim" market with 28 holes.

is 1775g for 29" wheels not on the heavy side?

Not at this price. This is pretty good actually. For comparison, check out other factory builds at similar or higher prices, such as Mavic Crossride or Fulcrum Red Power 29. This is a value wheelset with very nice-looking rims, sensible tough hubs and durable spokes. As others have said, should have good with brass nipples, but then the weight would rise by ~50g (and then 1820g seems a bit more porky).

+1 on offering loose rims!

Indeed, the market is there as people prefer custom built wheels. The hoops seem pretty decent.

I wonder how long before any hoops are available.

While you wait, here is a substitute...

The rims are slightly heavy( but not bad at all), so for the full built wheels to come in at that weight, the hubs must be pretty light.

Great price!

Well done Lyne!!

How’s that amp 30 for some cuddies? U rate they’ll be fine?

I don't think the guys that build and maintain the trail will rate U as fine
