Best guess is he probably arrived at the epic under-prepared, unfit and fat :P

There was a comment from one of the front runners that he 'was not looking as sharp as one would expect' or somesuch...

So glad Sauser is now there commenting on the live feed, thank you!

Interesting chirp on Kul and punctures..that it takes him 10min to accept the situation to get going again????

The Czech Express is chasing back

Ideal place too... that Czech Express sure can hammer it on flat sections.

tracker show him in the race village

Tracker shows quite a few people I know/follow in the race village, assume is a tech hitch, is anyone else getting this?

Knowing Nino, that is exactly what he would do. Cruising among the pack having a jol.

would be very suprised if he did that.He would have factored 8 days of hard racing into his programme and now will have to change it with his coach.Doubt he will spend 6 days having a jol

For many the Epic might seem like a really big deal, but these guys are professional athletes where this is just but one of many races in a year. No point risking any potential health damage or recovery for some bragging rights. It's only the plebs that brag around the braai and internet forums about how they're so tough and managed to finish their race with only one wheel and explosive diarrhoea.

Yeh, this is true.  There are two sets of races going on...
