Look, stop the nonsense Heini ( Edge design), price is listed and won't let go my bike for less and definitely won't drive it around to "box it" while payment has not been made. I only do that if has to be taken to one place only to be boxed and it is a Specialized dealer in the CBD, simple. If you can't then I wait for the one buyer can do. 

If you carry on with this situation I will take it as blackmail and I suggest you google law in South Africa and how address blackmail.

As gullible as some are, these guys are getting good. Even had scammers contact me for my wanted ads. Pretty convincing, he just didn't offer me what I wanted. Must say Admin was on top of it and warmed me that scammers had viewed my ad, gave me names etc

The funny thing about this is no one will ever be able to sell a yellow 2018 Elements 50 on hub ever... Considering its the "only one in SA" it will always be assumed its him trying to sell it again

I am just shocked that he thinks that his bait and switch tactics are ok, but heaven forbid people point them out he calls black mail. 

 

The only way it would be black mail is that if someone demanded he hand over the bike IF  that person did not pursue his bait and switch pricing shenanigans.

There is a crank protector on the drive side on the one photo. Yellow. And the rear tyre does not look like the Maxxis. And there is a second bottle cage not appearing in the other photos.

 

And maybe it's just my phone but looks like chain is different. Black inner links looking from non drive side, while drive side appears to have standard links

See his response to my above question, that the original photos are from October, when the bike was new. He has subsequently used the bike and installed the Crank protector and bottle cage.

 

But if it's been used, and the photos are from October, isn't it false advertising, as the photos don't show the current condition?

 

I don't think many people would be happy if they bought a bike based on 6 month old photos, not showing current condition
