Sparky and the Warden Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Once again amazing service from these guys start to finish. Ordered parts after midday Monday and poof... parts arrived this morning via The Courier Guy... this sort of service is almost unheard of but these guys do it right every time.

For comparison, I bought two tyres from Evo Bikes last night with a credit card (with payment confirmation) and now, 24 hours later, my order status is still "processing" on their website... I would have thought it'd be processed this morning already? How long is it reasonable to expect an order to be fulfilled and despatched with the courier?

Grease_Monkey Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I would say 24hrs is reasonable for orders to be dispatched. When I ship to customers (or used to anyway), I booked the courier at 9am and 3pm. 9am for orders paid for from 3pm the previous day until 9 that morning, and 3pm for orders paid from 9am that morning. I used overnight with courier guy, cheap - R85 if you have an account. They always deliver within 24hours, so I really don't see any reason why anyone should wait longer than 36hrs for online good to arrive (weekends and public holidays excluded). Obviously there are exceptions, bugger ups, and delays at times - but that should be the general rule for smallish items... Kudos to Rapide for actually doing it though, very few companies do - and that's down to them not dispatching orders fast enough, not the couriers (well most of the time anyway).

Do understand that the wheels do take longer. He also says it on the site! The oval rings also last well. Done over 10 000km on one already!

I ordered tires from Evo on Monday evening and they where delivered at my office in Joburg early this morning. 3rd order this year - never waited more than a day and a half... Don't know Rapide.
