DikBuffalo Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 This Wednesday we head to the flats! So time for the guys and girls with the big watts to show what they can do. 4 Laps of Volcano Flat which will give us just under 50km's It's going to be fast!
fanievb Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 good news from a results point of viewhttps://zwiftinsider.com/data-sharing-opt-in/
s14phoenix Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Was a nice race tonight but my legs are still a bit jelly from the cold I had last week and I just could not hold on right at the end. Some good performances by the Zaffas - Well done all!!!
Mongoose! Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 was a great race.lekker flat route we were about 4 to 5 guys behind the leading group and stayed together till the end - that was though
Stricker Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 So much for flat is easier. Was a good race , guilty of using a PU when it was required. But all in all good race. When is the prizes coming ?Water bottlesSocks TOWELS GelzEtc etc. Motivate the top Zaffas to incorporate "fight night" into their program.

Eldron Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Silly question from an observer - shouldn't heart rate be compulsory for these events? Given the level of cheating we've seen from the Strava segments to the TdF surely making heart rate compulsory would reduce the ability for people to cheat?

Always been like that.My biggest gripe would be racing against a Z power rider. Like we had last week.
SwissVan Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 PU = Power UpIs that like a red bull or something with loads of caffeine ?

Joe De Beer Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 It may be that some riders have problems to connect their HR though. I rely on Apple for HR and it connects about 1/3 times to Zwift on iPhone. Doesn’t impact me as I’m not good enough to join these events, but just noting that it could be an issue for others. Maybe exclude non HR from prizes when that materializes.

Stricker Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Geez this sounds terribleZ powered rider WTF!Zombie? They call it Z power as Zwift takes your speed and cadence information and estimate power from it.
Furbz Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 oh i am keen - will keep an eye on this thread and join in after my holiday
