After this years TDF I doubt Froome will be in Italy to defend his title. Hope I'm wrong though.

I think you are right. I reckon he will go all in for the TDF next year.

Huh??!! What kind of woman says no to Italy???

One that went there in 2016 and 2017. We've been twice and also been to France so we have to go somewhere else before we go back.

FWIW we rode up Monte Grappa when we went to Italy in 2017. You could still see the paint on the roads in places.

Listening to some mumerings on routes this past weekend, there going to be some brutal days in the mountains.

after seeing TdF's microstage this year and some of the vuelta climbs, the giro could follow suit with some testing stuff. as fun as it'll be for viewers, it'll be less fun for the riders

For sure and let’s be honest it’s about us fans not the riders haha

Agh **** YOU MAN!!! The stelvio and a GT. Dream trip. Pity my bird has said no to Italy for the foreseeable future.

The Friday's Queen stage is a mere 180km from the start of the Stelvio Granfondo two days later. Coincidence........... I THINK NOT!!!!!!!!  :whistling:
