Ja, I've saved bucket loads of money by not going to shops or online on BF. But cwc did throw me a curveball last year on a Pike that I had been eyeing and would have bought for myself for Xmas.

I can't be the only one desperately hoping for MTN to have another 50Gb data deal of sorts.

 

I've developed some pretty terrible data habits over the past 2 years. I can't go back to having a "normal" cellphone contract.

They have some special deals for the 50g crowd. One has 100 gigs (but no phone and no talk minutes) You should get a SMS from MTN. If you go to a MTN shop they will tell you what they will offer you

edit: only 300 minutes, excludes the 10000 minutes MTN-to-MTN. Came in very handy since the majority of the family are on MTN.

Same here, and I just switch to WhatsApp calling or any of the other data calling options, when not dialing MTN

What a coincidence! My "personalized" offers are exactly the same   

 

What do you guys make of these offers though? What are the chances that these are actually their black Friday deals that they're sending out early as "personalized offers" to the 50GB crowd so that they can renew their contracts? (Kinda hoping someone has some inside info)

Last year, got the missus a 1 x 11 setup from CRC, saved a bunch even after paying DHL.

 

This year, hoping for a 29 wide wheelset for a steal.

 

Still waiting for the local people to actually offer some proper discounts, been underwhelmed thus far.
