My Squier, I've had it for 22 years this year. Korean made and I'm still impressed with the tone every time I play it. I still haven't pulled the trigger on an actual Fender, but that's still the plan... sometime...

I have a Cort semi-acoustic that I played through "the band years" so it's been around. Upgraded to the Takamine last year. Great guitar!

A lil blue er than my mex strat was. But maybe pics.

Interesting story of how Leo chose colours back in the day.

It may be old news but a fun fact that always fascinates me.

Leo Fender couldn't actually play guitar. He was a radio repairman that used to fix guitarist's pickups. Then he designed the Strat, Tele and Jazz Bass. Only guy inducted in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of fame that can't play.

I started with slides on rocksmith yesterday.

Freakin difficult.

Just 2 strings at this time, but my hands and reaction is just to slow, and my hands get confused with which string to press.

Early days still and one of these days, ill be rocking along.

Latest addition to my collection.

It is the guitar that my dad played when i was in primary school. Life happened and I forgot about it. Now that I started playing, I required about it because i have not seen it in a couple of years. It was broken in the garage and my little bro TRIED to fix it.

Is this fixable? Or will it be a wall piece?

The quote to fix this is R1300. To buy a similar guitar today is about R5000.

I think for the time being it will be a wall piece, and then July or August I will get it fixed.

Watched the movie on Netflix about Motley Crue called the Dirt. An insight into sex and drugs and rock n roll.
