You can just touch up small imperfections/ chips/scratches with some nail polish. Been doing it forever. Plenty of colours to choose from...even clear.

The first scratch is always the hardest to ignore, but eventually you'll forget about it.

If it really bothers you, address as suggested above.

And if it's really badly scratched, get Bogus to give it new life.

i'll try and find this green nail polish somewhere. I will use clear polish for now

First cut is the deepest - hold off on repaint, there will be more. Rather try buy a bit of touch up paint from one of there-painters.

Had a similar problem with my bike, I took my bike to a automotive paint shop (in silverton, Pretoria ) , they mixed up a small 30ml bottle of 2k car paint that matches the colour of my bike! - you clean the scratch , apply a layer to fill it , let it dry, apply another layer , sand it with fine grit sand paper , and repeat if needed . Worked really well, and costs with sandpaper well under 100 bucks!

Was looking for some plastic sheets to stick on my MTB for protection. The store sold me some spray on plastic (clear gloss). Works like a charm, not visible if you dont know about it and if you want to remove just pull off. Touched up all scratches with nail polish and then spray on plastic. Looks like new. Product is called Liquid Armor

IF you do decide to repair it .... CBR Durbanville can repair the bike to its former glory, including original decals ....  OR, you could use this opportunity to make a one-off ....
