So the peloton has decided it does not want the stage win...?

13min50s gap to the three leaders who include Allaphillipe, with 70kms to go. Or are the three climbs up the road going to pull everything back together?

I have the same question that the commentator had for Wout after the finish: What kind of rider is he....?

Wins TT convincingly!

Wins a slightly uphill sprint ahead of Alaphillipe and Sam Bennet!

And it is not like this is the SA Road Champs, there are serious riders in this peloton...

Jumbo Visma have suddenly crept up as one of my favourite teams for TDF:

Van Aert

Groenewegen

Tony Martin

Kruiswijk

George Bennet

Some seriously exciting prospects there to light up the stages. Just sad that Roglic couldn't go to the TDF as well.

they need to decide what team they are.

Can't really compete in sprints and go for GC with the same team and achieve at both.

Roglic was man alone in Giro when it got sketchy.

granted this is probably their best lineup with the TTT on day2

Apparently Yates withdrew?

DNF

Tummy issues

As well as Kruijswijk

Seems like many GC contenders woke up not feeling well after racing in yesterday’s apocalyptic rains in the mountains after nearly a week of hard racing. ⚠️
