Nice find!

Simon123 seems to have forgotten to tell us what vehicle he drives?  :whistling:

he has, a Suzuki...and if memory serves, they have been technical partners with Toyota since 2017 to benefit from hybrid tech...basically one of those tie ups Toyota does every now and then like the new BMW z4/Supra and the previous 86/Subaru.

#just saying :D

A Land Rover of course by going on above....  :w00t:

But like the other brands I poked fun at, winding up a Toyota driver is easy peasy.   And definitely cannot take away their motorsport victories, as those listed above are real motorsports, not that pansy "motorsport" called F1.

I'm ready for round 2...

Don't; they only race against themselves?

as a manufactures entry....only in WEC currently but it is not their fault the whole VAG group (audi/porsche et al) dont race in anything as factory entries anymore due to the 'Dieselgate' scandal. They won the WEC championship against Audi in 2014 though.

And people tend to conveniently forget that Audi raced against themselves throughout the 2000's when they were racking up the Le Mans wins and getting every second sheep to buy a diesel Audi lol. Nobody cared then.

WRC fields Ford, Citroen, Hyundai (VW left due to the reasons above)

Dakar fielded Peugeot (with Loeb still) and Mini(BMW)(with Sainz) as manufacturer entries.

This is all excluding all the privateers who off course cant realistically compete against a manufacturer but there is a saying in motorsport...'to finish first, first you must finish' - just ask Toyota at Le Mans in 2016...where they were going to beat Audi and Porsche after leading most of the race just to break down during the last 4 minutes of a 24h race LOL

anyway, off topic sorry

Hows that new bike going?

enjoying it.

need to get that shorter stem though.

Also need to buy a few things, want to clean out the old sealant and put new sealant in, and I want to move move one of the brake lines around to tidy up the front of the bike a bit.

No reason to be nervous. Known issues are quickly and easily fixed. Only potential issue with the OCHO is the floating piston can get stuck leading to a feeling of the damper compression damping increasing. Its a 15min fix at a shop with the right tools. Only heard of one so far.

Creaking PF30 BB is common to all press fit bikes.

However creaks can come from lower pivot bearings or headset bearings.

Solid bike and will reward you with years of pleasure
