I heard it takes longer now after they have started using e-bikes for the camera shots and support.............

Pretty much a predictable outcome for the route. Not too excited about this one. It seems to get easier every year since 2008

Easier said from the outside...distance and elevation does not tell the story of the trail conditions. Technical, windy, corrugated, sandy, rocky all play a part. And with the quality of the pro field, cut offs get tougher and tougher to make

rubbish, more and more people are making cut off. Its just easier than it was in the past.

Trail conditions are the same for everyone and its been a factor since 2004. Yes even the journey days had rough, sandy, corrugated, wind, mud, cold , heat. The fact is its shorter and with less climbing, therefore easier.

Better route than last year IMO.

Hermanus and Grabouw trails have been ridden to death.
