Eldron Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Great ride by CDO. Shame Ashleigh didn’t place better. Think she is about the only representation South Africa will have in either the men’s or women’s elite time trials this year. Namibia has a rider in the guys today so maybe give him a shout instead.Tiffany Keep got a 40th in the ladies TT yesterday.
Vetplant Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 That moment when you've totally run out of reasons to justify another bad luck day on the bike! After great preparation, plenty of recons and a week of producing some of my best numbers this year in training ... problem after problem during my TT today at Worlds totally killed my legs, broke my rhythm and messed with my head. When I finally did a bike change halfway through the course, it was game over for me.I'm certainly learning to roll with the punches this year ... thanks for all the support out there today. Onwards to the road race on Saturday!Ag man, she had issues at the SA TTs as well. Sucks for her.
Rowl Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Let's hope De Bod can crack a top 10, 17th from last to start:Stefan De Bod (South Africa) 15:18:30
Jewbacca Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I won't lie, this years ITT is hardly riveting viewing so far. When was that seriously dramatic finish with the 20% climb up to the finish?! That was great. This is a little 'vanilla'....
DieselnDust Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 5:23:58 SAST Remco Evenepoel begins his effort, but freewheels briefly after 50 metres or so to adjust his socks. The UCI have, of course, been measuring sock length rigorously ahead of all time trial events this week.
DJuice Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Rohan should put in the effort of his life to save his career. The cycling websites does him no favour in the reporting of his choice of equipment.
